Christmas Day!

Mmmm, snacks and a rhino to eat!

Hello folks! I hope everybody had a great Christmas day! I did! The Night before we went to Bella‘s house to exchange presents.

I gave her a beautiful portrait of her to hang on the wall. She gave me a rhinoceros squeaky toy and some snacks.

The squeaky thing really drives me crazy! Thank you Bella!

Then on Christmas Day we went to Granmama’s house first! Isn’t her tree beautiful? 

Are there any presents for me?

 

 

 

 

 

 

May I please have some sausage? Please???

We had breakfast – sausage biscuits, sweet rolls and scrambled eggs. 

I was finally able to talk my mom into giving me some of the good stuff! She said no to the biscuit and jelly (darn it!) but she let me eat half a sausage patty. Yum!!

After that, mom and me took a little nap. 

When we woke up we headed to my aunt’s house!

Traveling to North Carolina to visit my aunt!

We were driving for so long! I was so happy when we finally arrived! Mom said it was only an hour but to me it seemed like longer than that!

Lucy the Christmas Elf

I met a new friend! Auntie was doggie sitting Lucy for a friend. Lucy was not too friendly to me at first but I’m sure we would get along if we spend some more time with each other.

We opened presents, ate some more food (I had ham!) and then played a rousing game of Clue!

There is nothing like a game of Clue and hot coffee!

Did I win? I did! Yeah!

We had such a good time. The game took a really long time to play. I got a little sleepy half way through and had to take a dog-nap.

After I won the game, it was time to pack the car and head home. I wanted to sleep all the way but I stayed awake to help Granmama keep Mom awake while she drove. After dropping off Granmama, we finally made it home, safe and sound and tired. I was ready for bed. I had a long, wonderful day with my new family (even though I did miss my dad and first mom). Sweet dreams, Rhino!
