Mom told me today about what my backyard looked like before I came to live with her (taken from inside the house). This is what it looked like in the winter one year ago. Beautiful woods, lots of shade – the buildings in the background were so far enough away that in the spring and summer you didn’t even see them.
I would have loved to see these woods.
This is what these woods look like now – no woods at all!!
She said once they tore down all the trees the summertime heat doubled – as did her air conditioning bill!
Anyway, this is the backyard I know and love. Here I am playing in it!
