I want to wish my papa a Happy Father’s Day! He lives in Chattanooga, Tennessee now with his son and daughter-in-law. After my mom went to heaven he decided he couldn’t stay out in the country by himself so he sold everything and moved. That’s why I am with my new mom in Virginia. It has all worked out for the best and now he is safe and happy and so am I.
It’s a Blog Hop!
The Cat on My Head Sunday Selfies
You know how I love PINK! Mom was at the store the other day and saw a collar with a really pretty flower! Mom tried like crazy to get a really good photo of me in it but of course I refused! Also, I want to wish Calista Jo over at The Cat on My Head a Happy 3rd Birthday! She had a party and gave out tiaras as party favors! I LOVE tiaras! Happy Birthday CJ! Barkingly Yours, Princess LadyBird
The sun is really bright – that’s why my eyes are half-closed! See the pretty flower? It has a big, shiny crystal in it!
You can almost see the ‘diamond’ here. I know its not a diamond for real, but I like to think it is!
See how pretty it is! This a picture of me trying to talk my G into giving me some chicken!!
I’m yawning here – my mom woke me up from a nap so we could go to G’s.
It’s a blog hop!!!
I am sharing my blog today with Toby. Why? you ask? Because it is International Box Day and a lot of Toby’s blog pals are celebrating because there seems to be something about Felines and Boxes. I don’t know what that’s all about, boxes are meaningless to me. So here’s Toby!!! (Notice the box contains a carpet cleaner just for pets!!! Who do you think throws up all the time? Not me!!)
Please go here for more fun with boxes!

And just remind you who I am, here’s a beautiful picture of me sporting a new collar! I’ll post about that tomorrow!
I’m dreaming of seeing my Granmama!!
My mom likes to participate in a lot of photo challenges over at Cee’s Photography Blog so I thought I would participate in her Share Your World Post.
Here are the questions:
What’s your favorite charitable cause and why?
It’s the Norfolk SPCA. I support them whenever I can. They are a No-Kill shelter and I love that.
What color do you feel most comfortable wearing?
PINK! I Love pink – even if my everyday collar is red. Mom just got me two new collars with pink on them. I can’t wait to wear them!
If you had your own talk show, who would your first three guests be? (guest can be dead, alive, famous or someone you just know)
I would interview the following:
Albert from Albert’s New York blog. He has the most interesting posts about New York City!
Gol Naran from the blog of the same name. She has the most beautiful art work I’ve ever seen!
And of course my beloved (and internet shy) Grandmama! Love ya, G!
List: What are at least five places you’ve enjoyed visiting?
Mount Trashmore Park, Great Bridge Lock Park, Pet Expo in Hampton, my Aunties’ house in Currituck County, North Carolina
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
I am grateful for my mom!!
Mom and me!
On our way to Granmama’s this last Wednesday my mother tricked me!! I thought we were going straight there like we always do when surprise, surprise, we pulled into Pet Supplies Plus! Mom said she was going to get some special food for Piper – since she is like a million years old and has lost a lot of weight but still wants to eat. Anyway, she took me to the grooming salon and that’s right – she had them clip my nails! That’s right – my nails. I hate having my nails done! And then afterward she disappointed me even further by – well, you’ll see later. Oh my, moms sure are troublesome sometimes, aren’t they? It’s a good thing I love her! Barkingly yours, LadyBird
What is happening to me? Who is this crazy woman? Yikes – she’s got clippers HELP!!
Leave my feet alone! If you hadn’t hooked me up to this pole I would turn around and bite you!!
Ooo – now’s she’s on to my front nails! When will this madness be over??? Help me mom!
Finally – is this the last one?! I hope so!!!
This blue-eyed big dog was a witness to my humiliation!
When we got back in the car I was expecting to go to Starbucks and get a puppicino! But what did I get? – a piece of dried up old beef jerky treat. Yuk!
I wanted none of that – I just buried it!
Later at Granmama’s…
