I took this selfie on my first outing after recovery. Mom didn’t let me leave the house (except short trips outside to potty) for a week after surgery. She wanted to make sure my incision was healing well and I was feeling up to it. My first outing was to Granmama’s, of course!! She tried to get a photo of my wonky nippie but I wouldn’t let her. The Cat on my Head Sunday Selfies Blog Hop!
Hey folks, LadyBird here. for today’s Caturday Art Toby picked a photo we first saw on 15andmeowing showing a cat house designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. The cats over there offered a blank picture of the house to add cats to. So Toby took that picture and added him and Jack I said to him – what about me? He said it was a cat house not a dog house. I told him I didn’t care and I wanted to be in the picture. Here’s what he came up with. He did a pretty good job, don’t you think? Thanks Ellen for sharing the blank photo!! Athena & Marie’s Caturday Art – Its a Blog Hop!
Hey folks, it’s LadyBird!! I am back! I wanted to thank all of you for your prayers and purrs and the Power of the Paw!! during my recent surgery. In case you didn’t catch all the news, I had the beginnings of pyrometra, which is a uterine infection in unspayed dogs – and cats. It turns out my mom’s cat, Baby Agnes, had pyrometra and went into shock and had to have an emergency spay. I also had a mammary tumor that was related to 10 years of estrogen. If there was any reason to spay your dogs and cats it is this – otherwise if left untreated – I would have continued to get sick and my uterus would have filled with infection to the point of bursting – awful thought isn’t it? Then the infection would go throughout my little body and I can’t even begin to imagine the pain. So for a week of discomfort, I was spared a serious, painful and life-threatening illness. Alright, enough with that! The photos I want to share with you are from labor day with my Auntie and Granmama. Enjoy them (they were before surgery so I was a little grumpy).
