RECALL issued! Don’t feed THIS to your kitty!!

The company called Halo, Purely for Pets, based out of Tampa FL, has issued a cat food recall for specific bags of their Spot’s Stew Sensitive Cat Turkey Nibble. There have been reports of mold in this specific batch of bags so it is DANGEROUS to feed them to your cat.

 

DO NOT FEED THIS TO YOUR CAT, and discontinue feeding if you already have started.This is the specific information for the bags that are contaminated:

Spot’s Stew Wholesome Turkey Recipe Sensitive Formula for Cats

Sizes:   6 lb. and 3 lb. bags
Best By date:  09/04/2016

Halo, Purely for Pets has issued a press release in which they note, “While some pets can ingest mold without incident, others may experience digestive issues.” So if your cat is showing symptoms of trouble digesting, please take them to the vet as soon as you can.
