Mom attacked me with a pair of scissors!!!!
Not really, but that’s what it felt like – for the last 3 or 4 days – every time I’m snoozing on my back she sneaked – snook – snuck – oh- whatever – you get what I mean – with some scissors to cut this massive mat of tangled fur off my body! I have to admit it was bothering me – it was right below my mane – and it was pulling on me. It was so big she could only cut it out a little at a time because it bugged me so much her close to me with sharp thing! But when she finally got it out, what did she do? She took a photo of course!!!! 
See my pink skin under the fur? And how much of my luxurious fur is missing? It’s not stylish and it was traumatizing but mom was very careful and took her time especially when I was squirmy.
After the trauma, there was much cuddling with mom!

It’s not a great photo, but then, I was traumatized!! (Mom’s telling me not to be so dramatic!!)

You poor furless boy! Well, without that big old hard clump of furables on your tummy I bet you feel a LOT BETTER…..it will grow back (the fur – not the clump!).

Oh my! I understand how you feel. I don’t like sharp things near me or to have my ears messed with and I have two mats behind both of my ears.
My Margret has been cutting them a little bit at a time I’m not happy about the whole thing except treats. She gives me treats afterward so that helps kind of not really but they are good.

I think the mat is all mom’s fault – if she had brushed me every day like I told her to, the mat wouldn’t have happened!!!! Thanks for stopping by!

The Puffs have the same problem since their furs are so fine they tangle really easy just going out in the wind! Mom always worries when she has to get the scissors out! Glad that yours is taken care of and you got extra cuddles 🙂

You poor guy, good thing it isn’t winter or you would freeze. I reviewed a cool matt remover from Amazon a few months ago, it is from GOPETS and it is amazing.Maybe your Mom could get you one.

What’s she talking about? You have every right to be dramatic! You have a big hole in your fur that she put there with a sharp pair of scissors. You could have been killed. She owes you dramatics! 🙂

Oh Toby, we are so sorry. Occasionally Giulietta has to have some snarl cut out. It is tough having long, luxurious furs, but it will grow back in a jiffy!
