1.       Two meals a day makes Toby a grumpy boy. I prefer three to elebentybillion meals a day

2.       My favorite magazine is whatever mom is reading at the time. She doesn’t really read them so much as mine them for collage materials.

3.       Recently, I’ve begun to feel my age. I meow and meow for food but when mom puts it down for me I get confused as to where it is. She often has to turn me around and show it to me. I must be older than she thinks. I don’t know. I’m a former street cat. Wait. What was I talking about? When’s breakfast? Where’s breakfast?

4.       Even though I’m getting older, I know I will be well cared for in my twilight years. My mom loves me very much. I even accidentally peed on her bed and she didn’t even say anything to me about it. That was very nice of her. I think I had an accident while sleeping. I don’t remember. When’s breakfast?

It’s a good day for coffee!!

Mmmm! Free Coffee even better!!

 

Ha! Fooled you! I’m not drinking coffee! It’s mom’s!! This is her 2nd cup of the day because Wa-Wa’s is having Free Coffee for National Coffee Day!!

 

When mom can’t get to sleep tonight, you can bet I’ll be reminding her of that 2nd cup of coffee!!!

I also want to give a nod to sweet LadyBird. Today is her Gotcha Day. Two years ago today mom started on the way home with her from Georgia. If you aren’t familiar with LadyBird, she has her own set of pages under the heading of Angel LadyBird.This  is one of mom’s favorite photos of her. Simon, BobbieSue and I miss her.

Look Who Decided to Visit!

It’s MerryBelle! 

 

Now I know you’re thinking “But doesn’t she live in your house?” And you would be right! But as she is 99.99999% feral she won’t come any where near mom and only when it’s food time and mom isn’t around does she come around us. So, this is a real treat!

 

She’s taken to sleeping in mom’s closet and actually came out this morning to say hi – with mom in the room!! Mom was able to get these pics before she scurried back to the closet! Mom figures as long as she sees her at least once a day (usually coming out of the litter box room or the kitchen from eating) she’s going to let MerryBelle do what she wants to do. So I wanted to share these photos with you because who knows when we’ll see her again!!!
