Today is Remember Me Thursday and the only kitties you will find here today are rescued ones – almost all kitties who have lived with mom have been rescued in one way or another.
First up are the most recent additions: PeggySue and MerryBelle:
Then there’s me (Simon) and BobbieSue:
Now for some Angel rescued kitties:
Piper and Rufus came from the mean streets.
M.C. from the street as well:
Mike and Molly were born in mom’s backyard:
And last but certainly not least, Russell and Laura from bad homes:
So we remember these kitties and the ones who are currently in bad situations waiting for a safe and loving forever home.
And we thank all the rescue organizations and shelters who work so hard, many times for no pay, for the rescued animals. Without them and the millions of unknown people (like mom) who take in strays from the outside, the world would be a much sadder place than it already is.
Bring joy into your life – rescue a cat or other animal today!
Love, Simon
This is one of my favorite events to support and 4th year blogging about it. Sadly, the conversation about adoption is more timely and relevant than ever. Happy Autumn 🙂

What a great post, Simon! Like me, you guys are some of the lucky ones that got rescued. We remember those that aren’t so lucky…and still remain in the shelters. #RememberMeThursday ~Ernie

I love cats! My neighbor and I feed a colony (they have all been spayed and neutered). Apparently, we have a sign in our yards that says any little kitty that doesn’t have a home, come here and we will feed and love you because we get strays often. We are happy to take them in and fortunately, the colony is too!

Very nicely done. All the kitties who have lived here have either been strays, the offspring of strays or adopted from a rescue. Mom has never gotten any dog or kitty from a pet store or breeder. Keep up the good work at your house. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Caista Jo
