That mother of mine – she welcomed a new baby into the house! If I didn’t love her so much I would trade her in for a new model.
His name is Jenga and he’s a Corgi-Chihuahua mix. Mom thinks he’s adorable. I say she’s lost her mind. He’s 10-years-old and was given up by his one and only family to a rescue group and went through 2 foster families before he came to my house.
I tried closing my eyes and wishing him away but that did no good. He’s still here.
Mom has been waiting a long time for him so I guess he’s here to stay.
I’m not at all happy about this. Mom says she still loves me as much as ever and I suppose she does. {sigh} What am I going to do about mom?? What am I going to do about Jenga???

Your mom made the right decision, this oldish dog needed a permanent home, and now she has it. So you all have love, room and food enough, just wait until you get know her, you will be friends for sure. Your mom is a great lady!

Well I’d say that you’d better get used to the little guy – sounds like he’s there to stay and really – when you think about it – he’s a senior citizen who must be rather confused about losing his only ever home……so this is a SWEET thing your Mom (and you!) are doing for him!
