I know I should save these for Selfie Sunday but I couldn’t wait to share these with you today! When me and my retinue were outside the other day I took a bunch of selfies! I hope you enjoy them! Barkingly Yours, LadyBird

I’ve been away for awhile…
Can you believe I haven’t posted anything for almost a week? Well, I usually post every other day or so and the day I was gonna post – my computer decided to go on vacation and take all my photos with it! I lost almost everything! Bummer! Big Bummer! But mom told me to not worry because that just means we get to take lots more photos! Still, I did have a photo series ready to go about me meeting a new friend, Pepper. She lives in my Granmama’s neighbor’s house. She is a cute Bichon, but maybe I will see her again on Wednesday when we go back to G’s and I can get some more photos of her! So now that you’re all caught up on the news, here’s some photos of the me and Bella in the back yard. Bella had an accident but she’s all better now – and raring to go! Hopefully I will see you soon – if the computer gods don’t strike the pc down again! BOL! Barkingly Yours, LadyBird

Bella recuperating in her momma’s lap. She was close to the fence – someplace me and Toby go a lot – but since she is so close to the ground she walked over a broken glass and got a nasty cut! She had to get 6 staples on her chest and be put on antibiotics for two weeks. Me and Toby are so glad she is okay and the cut was not deep!

Bella’s accident scared her mom really bad and she is not allowed to run around in the yard off leash until the staples come out. Poor Bella! We don’t know where the glass came from but it looked like it had been there for a long time – mom said maybe all the rain we’ve had lately washed all the dirt away from it and exposed the sharp edges. Mom’s keeping a close eye on me and Toby when we go to that area. Bella’s mom checked for more glass but didn’t see any – but you can never be too careful!
I went to Pugapalooza!
Bella and I went to Pugapalooza this last Saturday! Thankfully we weren’t the only non-pugs there! I’ve got some photos I took – mostly of dogs, that’s all I was really interested in! But we had a nice day – even if it started out terrible! Here’s the rundown of our very busy day: 1. Pet Supplies Plus to have nails done (yikes!); 2. Starbucks for puppy lattes; 3. getting lost in Norfolk trying to find the dog park; 4. stopping by Norfolk SPCA for directions 5. We finally made it! 6. Mom tries a tutu on me (thank goodness it didn’t fit!) but doesn’t buy it;7. We walk all around the ‘world’ and I get accosted by pugs everywhere until I plead with mom to hold me; 8. we finish up by watching a training session on how to teach your dog to “come” when called. I ignored it. 9. We go see mom’s work. 10. We go to Bea Arthur dog park on the river but it is packed with big dogs so we keep on going; 11. we stop to take pictures of the baby geese; 12. we stop by the grocery store to pick up some garlic bread for dinner at Granmama’s. Bella’s mom went inside and Bella climbed on my mom and I had to discipline Bella about staying off my mom’s lap. 13. We make it to Granmama’s where after dinner I collapse on the couch and sort of sleep until we finally go home. 14. I sleep through breakfast Sunday morning and don’t wake up til lunch time! Whew! What a day!

pugs, frenchie, sheltie, labrador (?) just a few of the many dogs that were there – thankfully most were smallish!!
It’s National Pet Day!!
I am enjoying the spring warmth!!
The way the weather is going around here is we get one or two days of warmth and two or three days of cold! Bella’s mom set up a canvas gazebo outside and set up chairs underneath it so all of us could enjoy the warmth! (Of course it was cold the next day!!) Bella spends most of her time chasing me around, Toby spends most of his time eating grass, and I spend most of my time running around barking. Mom didn’t get any of pictures of us doing that stuff; she just got us all relaxing. Mom did get a photo of me in my favorite spot – her lap! The pink thing I’m looking in is a bucket-thing that mom uses to carry out her phone, camera, drink and snacks in – and maybe a book, but we don’t let her read much. I was trying to get to the string cheese wrappers she had in there. I was not successful (bummer). Expect more pictures of us outside!!Â
