Well folks, seems we’re having a bit of an indian summer – it turned warmer today, but its still a reminder that summer is gone for this year. Oh well, it will be back next year!!!! And think of it – turkey days ahead!! I won’t even begin to think about the frigid morning’s I’ll have to go outside to do my personal business, when all Toby has to do is go to the laundry room. It’s not fair, you know, that whole personal business inside vs outside thing. I guess I could always learn to use a litter box, but then I would be a cat and that is something I just cannot abide!! Barkingly yours, LadyBird
I’m loving summertime – I get to pretend to eat corn-on-the-cob!!!
It’s the Caturday Art Blog Hop with Athena and Marie! Yay!!
It’s Caturday Art time again! Along with BobbieSue over on mom’s photo blog, I have decided to remind everybody of how hot it is (like everybody doesn’t already know!) Enjoy the art and make sure you check out the other art on the blog hop!! Oh, and make sure you read all the way to the bottom of the post!!
I have to celebrate that because I have 3 cats in my life and one cat-angel on my shoulder! In case you don’t remember who the cats are in my life, here they are:
So, those are the cats in my life. . . as annoying as they are we have learned to live with each other. Toby and Simon basically ignore me; BobbieSue is the only one who still reacts to me with hissing. She still doesn’t like me. I would prefer she ignore me than not like me. I’ve tried to be friendly but I think she takes it as an act of aggression. Oh, well, I’ll keep trying. . . anyway, I’m glad they are all in my life. My life is richer because of the cats. The World should celebrate cats everyday!! Barkingly yours, LadyBird
You would think that being from Georgia I would be used to hot weather. Well, I mat be used to it but I sure don’t like it! Hot weather means me and mom don’t get to visit with Bella that much because its too hot to sit outside. Hot weather means fleas. Hot weather means I stuck at home when mom runs her errands. Some days its so hot she won’t even let me do my sniff-sniff around the yard! Hot weather also means that when I do get to go with mom she runs the air conditioning instead of having the windows rolled down. Oh well, this too shall pass! Just to remind you about hot weather I am posting an infographic from the ASPCA. Let’s be safe out there everyone! Pantingly yours, LadyBird
