I have a new brother!

That mother of mine – she welcomed a new baby into the house! If I didn’t love her so much I would trade her in for a new model.

His name is Jenga and he’s a Corgi-Chihuahua mix. Mom thinks he’s adorable. I say she’s lost her mind. He’s 10-years-old and was given up by his one and only family to a rescue group and went through 2 foster families before he came to my house.

I tried closing my eyes and wishing him away but that did no good. He’s still here.

Mom has been waiting a long time for him so I guess he’s here to stay.

I’m not at all happy about this. Mom says she still loves me as much as ever and I suppose she does. {sigh} What am I going to do about mom?? What am I going to do about Jenga???

A mancat’s gotta eat!!

I’m telling you right now that packing is HARD work! I had to take a break the other day…

Mmmmm…that was yummy!

What!?! You left the bag here, mom! I’m just taking advantage of it!

Hmmm…I think I might be…

Yep; I most definitely am…

Still hungry!!!!

*nom, nom, nom* You go ahead and pack, mom….

I gots me som’ eattin’ to do!!! *nom, nom,nom*

Buddy comes to visit

I’m sorry I haven’t been posting – mom’s schedule is messed up because she has to run home right after work to let him out – he’s not litter box trained! Then, when she gets home, walks him and feeds us cats, she doesn’t want to go back outside to the library!!! Oh, well! He’ll be home soon enough!

This is what BobbieSue did when Buddy first came home – he really freaked her out and she headed for the hills!!

And this is what PeggySue did – she did stand up to him and hissed and spit at him. Poor Buddy; he’s a 120 pound dog intimidated by an 8 pound cat!!! Those claws are sharp!

I didn’t even see MerryBelle for two days; Simon and I ignored him for the most part. Buddy and I did get to go outside together and mom is promising me Saturday morning outside with  – I can’t wait!!!

 

That’s all for today!! I probably won’t post again until next week – I’ve got packing to supervise, moving some furniture, reminding mom to pick up Granmama from her trip and take Buddy home!  Have a great weekend, e-furry-body!!!!

Friday Fill-In Time!!

Are you ready for some Friday Fill-ins???? I am! Let’s go!! My answers are in Red this week and mom’s will be in Blue!!

1. My favorite thing on my daily to-do list is EAT, bathe, and sleep – in that order!! My favorite thing on my daily to-do list is coming home each night to my furbabies, laying on my bed and letting them crawl all over me saying hello.

2. My least favorite thing on my daily to-do list is say goodbye to mom in the morning when she goes to work.  My least favorite thing on my daily to-do list is to go to work each morning. I would rather stay home and love on the kitties and craft all day. {Sigh} But someone does have to earn the money to feed everybody and I don’t see Toby signing up for anything. Hey! Wait a minute! If you hadn’t had me neutered I could have been passing along my superior genes for a hefty price!!!! That’s true, but I wouldn’t have you any other way than you are right now!!

3. I could really do without the other cats competing for mom-time. I could really do without so many cranky people in the world. 

4. I would love to have more outside time off leash!!! I would love to have more money to have the freedom to not work full time and still take care of my babies!!
